1978 GMC Royale; dry side bath model
26', Class A motorhome in nice condition with many upgrades. Sleeps 4. Beautiful walnut cabinets & woodwork throughout. Rear area can be used as twin beds, or one large bed. Table included for the rear dinette as well for those times entertaining campmates (not pictured). Furnace works well, fridge works well on propane and 120v AC. 6kW Onan generator runs great; is tray mounted and slides out for easy maintenance. Roof AC works well also. Oldsmobile 403ci V8 runs great, TH425 3spd automatic transmission runs great, shifts very nice. Rear air suspension adjustable from the driver's seat. Has the optional, and functional, cruise control. LCD TV in rear bedroom area. New windshield washer system installed. Water heater works on propane or 120v, and the engine coolant heats the water as you drive.
Engine and transmission had approx 40k miles when I bought it.
The entire coach structure is aluminum, below the beltline the body panels are fiberglass (not luan laminated), above the beltline body and roof panels are aluminum sheet. No rusting, no rotting, no delamination.
These motorhomes drive much more like a car than a typical Class A RV, ride like a Cadillac, and get 9-10mpg.
If you're intimidated by driving a large Class A, this might be a perfect fit!
Upgrades:
Alcoa 16" aluminum wheels (7), will save a ton of money when replacing tires compared to the original, hard to source 16.5" tires, and they also run truer than the original steel wheels.
Rear quad-bag system; huge improvement over the original single airbag suspension. Effectively makes it 6-wheel independent suspension. New Firestone airbags are inexpensive to replace in the future; original style airbags are no longer available, and good used bags are getting scarce and expensive.
3.21 ratio final drive differential; huge improvement over the original 3.07 ratio.
Left & right axle assemblies replaced/rebuilt just before I bought it (I may have put 750mi on it).
Shift kit installed in transmission; yields very nice quick, positive shifts.
Front and rear brakes were gone through just before I bought it also.
Converted to an electric fuel pump - no more vapor lock! Fully insulated, new fuel line from pump to carb as well.
Newer 2-way fridge
Intermediate shaft replaced
Thetford toilet
Ragusa folding step
Wind Wings

I do have the other skirt, it just isn't installed.

Asking $9500 or best reasonable offer.

Moving to a 31-34' SOB that will be better suited for towing and launching/retreiving the 23', 4500lb jetboat.
