Applied has a small harness that plugs into the alternator. It protects the coach dash wiring harness from burning. If something goes wrong with the alternator. Extremely simple to install. No tools required. Bob Dunahugh

A couple '73 455 desert plains;  both are on registry list.  I offered
$10 for fair condx gas tank, he countered $20, I picked up 2 of his 4
and felt good giving him $50 total.

I almost offered $10 each for the nice plush original fancy captain
chairs but restrained myself.  The tanks will get me running again and
the added work of swapping out 2 chairs was more than I wanted to
contemplate.
