Oops, EmEry, not EmOry... sorry 'bout that.
For the Corvair freaks, I had a '65 500 club coupe. Biggest piece of junk I've ever owned, although it was a nice handling little car. Everything on it fell off in the time I had it - transmission, exhaust rocker failure every 3-4K miles, etc, etc. Yall can have them.
Incidentally, is Mike Phillips out of Tulsa still active nationally as a Corvair freak? He had a two-way radio shop and got about half rich selling and maintaining radios in the oil fields. He offered me a completely restored convertible ('66 maybe) for a 'gimme' price but I still had a bad taste over the first one I owned so I passed on it.
