When I first read your email this morning I said to myself "only an Idiot would try and pull a GMC by the ladder, it's bloody
aluminum!"
I just re-read it and I'm the idiot! The word "frame" didn't register this morning!

If you are stuck bad enough that you can't extract your coach with a tug from another vehicle, then you need to be extremely careful
how and where you start pulling. The ladder frame wasn't designed to endure heavy pulls from one corner.
