Chris,

I suggest you look at the front crossmember that Larry's hitch is attached to, I'm sure it's fine to launch a boat, however, there
is no way it is strong enough to hook a winch to that you can pull the GMC with.

To pull the GMC the hitch needs to be attached to the main frame members.
