Interesting! Those coils are the GM Waste Coils as used on a bunch of
vehicles. My concoction is based on the ignition control module
with those coils as used on the 93-99 Cadillac Northstar. Since that motor
becomes an unserviceable lump at about 100k miles, the
modules become readily available in the men's mall. It does require a GM
ECM to provide an advance protocol. Obviously, the EBL
conversion normally used in the GMC conversion to EFI. I should add that
one of my sources has it working with MegaSquirt EFI.
I am going to try to have a show-and-tell display at Elkhart if you're going
to be there.
