Ken,
I like your remote dipsticks! I recently studied your photos of them. I
think I may go that route as I already have all the materials to make them.
I originally wanted to keep everything closer to the factory configuration
but I have never really liked the long flat dipsticks as they are difficult
to slide down the tube, especially if they get kinked. The round cable
sounds like the "better" solution.

Yep, Frank Jenkins is now making new wheel well liners from fiberglass.
