Ken,

I like your remote dipsticks! I recently studied your photos of them. I
think I may go that route as I already have all the materials to make them.
I originally wanted to keep everything closer to the factory configuration
but I have never really liked the long flat dipsticks as they are difficult
to slide down the tube, especially if they get kinked. The round cable
sounds like the "better" solution.

R there any replacement/different/homebrew ones available, mine are warped some by the eng side due to excessive heat due to a flashover& small elect shorting due to a pressure adjustment thingy blowout between the fuel pump & carb...yes it was exciting. Mad

Yep, Frank Jenkins is now making new wheel well liners from fiberglass.
