To include a discussion from a few weeks ago. Pre populate each
calender with each groups "gatherings" with the Info needed to attend.
and/or, create a calender in soft form (ie..pdf... publisher .. ect )
and have each GMCer print out their own copy. now this would only
benefit GMCers who are already in the know.. but that person could
print out a few extras, or Kinko's for that matter, to "give away to
the interested.

Most of the GMC clubs don't know when or where their rallies will be a
year in advance. GMCMI does but the smaller clubs have rally masters
that constantly change and they usually work about 3 months ahead of
time.

So I don't think you could expect to "pre populate" a calander.

That has been tried and there is currently a calender of events at on
the internet for GMCs but I don't remember the link.
Someone else will probably post it for you.
The only problem with it its that people don't update it very often.
It would be up to each club to post their information.

How about this, Dave?

ARF ARF ARF!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Boy I think you guys are too late!

My belief has been that the GMC is in the Autumn of its life if you consider decreasing oil supplies, Engine replacements, part availablities in the future, body parts, etc. This may be a cult vehicle, But right now parts and support is available, this may change in the future.

AS FOR ADVERTISING the GMC Motorhome.......

A little story

As many know, Gatsbys' Cruiser has been in the shop for awhile trying to find the power loss problem.
It is a little shop off a semi busy street and the parking lot is next to the building, the GMC has lived there since this started this year.

The other day I was there talking over stragies and what we would persue next to fix the problem when a gentleman, mid aged, walked in and asked if the GMC was for sale. He was politely told no it wasn't and he walked off. My mechanic looked at me and said that the motorhome has been attracting a lot of "lookers".

He says he will see at least a couple cars a week pull up to look at the GMC and at least twice a month they are asking if it is for sale.

The GMC itself is a selling point and it attracts its own following. I don't have any handouts at this time but it would be a good thing to have.

There was a comment made last year when the GMC was being worked on, that it had quite a few inquiries and "stop bys" then too.

They know the GMC is out there and they are asking questions.
It seems to me the interest is already looking at the GMC and I suppose I will have to put a sign up to let folks look at a website to see more. Ahhh, life is goood. Laughing

Some of us waited 30 years for our chance to own one. I think there
are still folks on the waiting list now. If we keep ours up, they'll
have one ready when their time comes.
