I rebuilt mine in about an hour about 14 years ago. It is still running fine.
This is one of those items that is used do little that I feel a rebuild is a better choice than replacement. On an all day trip in travel it runs once or twice for 30 seconds or so each time. I do carry a Harbor freight 12 volt tire inflation compressor that could be quickly attached if the OEM DANA should quit.
