For someone who is intimidated by a wiring diagram is there an easy to understand troubleshooting/test to dtermine why the right side won't air up? Somewhere in the system I believe the solenoid is not kicking in. I am looking through my binders of info to see if I have anything to work from in the manuals but am wondering if there is an "Electro level for dummies" post out there somewhere. I have sold the coach and want to get it all set for the new owner and now it decides not to air up. Compressor is at 90lbs and the left side is fine. Thanks

Does the manual raise switch do anything? If it does then your right compressor is good. Might be height sensor on that side. EL II is simpler than the EL I I have but the sensors can be an issue I have heard.

Wayne,
If you check the wiring diagram, you should find that the Raise solenoid is
powered through a Light Blue with Double Black Stripe wire. However,
there's also the Hold (Raise/Lower) solenoid to be concerned about: It's
powered, during either Raise or Lower, through a Pink with Double Black
Stripe wire. If Lower works OK, the Hold solenoid should be OK.
You can also test the solenoids by disconnecting the listed wires and
applying 12 VDC directly to the solenoid, but without the Hold solenoid
activated at the same time, no air should flow.

Wayne,
I am reposting the manual so other can take advantage of it information. The solenoid layout and wiring are all in the document.

It is common for the swithes to accumulate dirt inside which stops them from making contact.
It is easy to open the switch to clean out the dirt and lint.
Use some spray contact cleaner to clean and lubricate them when reassembling them.
I have cleaned mine and some other GMCer’s motorhomes to solve problems.

I'm with Emery on this one. Use a jewelers driver to open the switch and don't loose spring and follower. They have real contact points inside that get coated with the broken down protectve foam dust sheet that has long degraded to goo. Some dielectric grease keeps it working smoothly. This fixed my no down on passenger side. Check continuity with Ohm meter before reinstalling. I think they are DPDT.
