Hello Everyone:
This may be of interest to some member. I do not have space or money myself to take advantage of it. Someone certainly had some big plans!!! Hope someone could use this.

Price $10,000.00
Address Princeton, ON N0J 1V0, Canada
For Sale By Owner
Year 1973
1973 GMC motorhome for sale in Ontario. We began restoration but then moved to Alberta and it is no longer worth it for us to continue. It is too expensive to get it out west so we are selling it. The motorhome has been completely stripped, frame off restoration. Would be great as a project for someone to finish, or to be used for parts. New paint job, frame has been powder coated, engine rebuilt, all new stainless steel brake lines, brand new windows, gas tanks, fantastic vents and much more. Asking $10,000, have more than $30,000 invested in it. Husband would consider trade for older corvette

As most know I'm on the look out for a twin bed set up.
However, this caught my eye as I could make it what I want.
I sent them an email (yesterday) and have not heard back.
But the one thing I'm not good at yet:
How does one tell if it is a smaller 23 foot over the 26 foot I would prefer?
(EDIT)
Tony (Ontario Canada) Marie and I are blessed to have had a 2nd chance to buy our farm. Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage. Our 1970 Ultravan #520 has an Olds Toronado 455 in back.

The obvious way to tell a 23' over a 26' is the position of the entrance door. It is immediately next to the passenger front side window. The under restoration picture is of a 26' as you can see the door is well down the side of the coach. There are other difference in body size but that is the obvious.

Does anyone know this coach, its history, and the owners?
Sincerely, Tony

The door is a dead give-away and always works, but if you are looking from the driver's side, then look at the rear door for the genset (APU). If it is almost square, it is a 23. The 26 version is significantly rectangular. This even works on the later rear bath types.
23s were only 11% of the original manufacture. If you find one loose be sure to tell everyone here because many are hunting them.

From the driver's side (LH), the other obvious difference is the small side window directly behind the large side window. As far as I know, 23 footers don't have that forward small window.
