If any of you GMCers have a friend that is looking for a large motorhome here is a 40 foot Foretravel for sale at a good price.

This is a 1995 Foretravel SE320. It has the largest Cat diesel engine that was put into motorhomes. CAT 3176 engine.

It has a diesel generator. Two fairly new digital TVs. Tires replaced less than 2 years ago. All new batteries last year.

Less than 5000 miles put on during the last 2 years. Michigan to Florida and back twice. Owner is turning 90 this years so doesn't drive it much.
One owner. Beautifully maintained.

Asking price reduced to $55,000. This motorhome cost over $400,000 when new.

Located in Southwestern Michigan between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo.

Owner: Howard Cowles 269-672-7647
cell 616-890-7142

Is there any info on how many miles on it? Pictures? Specific Model?

My dad is looking for one but this might be a little higher then the ones
he has been looking at.

I would think that the specific model is the SE320. (Special Edition).

I can't give you pictures or other information as I am not the one selling it. I posted the telephone numbers.
Why don't you have your dad call him?

Yeah, I am going to do that. I was just curious. I guess I missed the
SE320 part. Sorry.

We are in MI maybe couple hours away so he may go take a look at it.

Thanks.

Mileage on Foretravels is almost meaningless.
Foretravel of Texas recently sold a 1999 U320 42' for just under $80K with less than 60k miles.
They're up there with Newell for quality. Plus they're one of the few top end RV manufacturers to survive the big wipe out.

This one has 125,000 miles but the Cat diesels are supposed to go to a million miles.

Fella's;

500K miles is over 7K hours, usually the time to start thinking about doing the bottom end, some go longer than that before doing the bottom end. Anyway you look at it, that's a lot of touring, and the price is right!
