"We had a discussion at Bean station about those Dinosaur boards.

One of the people at BS complained enough direct to Dinosaur that they made a mod the to a new board and sent it to him. One of the comments he received when talking the the technician was they have a high number of these boards returned. The fix he had them do was to change the resistor in series with the up to speed relay from 10 ohms to 23.5 ohms (two 47 ohm resistors in Parallel). He is still testing the "fixed" board and has no problems with it. He previously went through 3 boards from Dinosaur.

You can check the switch but I suspect that you have a bad relay and need to call and then return the board to Dinosaur."

Hello All!

I'm the one who worked with Dinosaur to test all my returned boards. You should have the registration card with the serial numbers of your returned boards.

The board they sent me which has worked since last July (going on 50+ hours of operation)was a special configuration. Serial number 073W0398. Ken detailed the work that Dino did above.

I would call Dinosaur ask for Chad Shumway, Tech Support & Engineering. Give him the serial numbers of your returned boards so they can check them out. Mention my custom board #073W0398 and see if that will fix your problem.
