Bob,

Ping pong - GOOD ONE! ;-)

When I was in high school I played football, I GA-RON-TEE Rugby makes US
Football look like a girl's game.

The uniform consists of:

Tee Shirt
Shorts
Jock
Sox
Shoes

Some guys will wear a cloth helmet or a band to protect their ears. I always
kid Helen noting that the helmets look like tea cozies (cloth cover that is
put over tea pots to keep the tea warm).

NO HELMETS!
NO SHOULDER PADS!
NO NECK PROTECTORS!
NO PADDING!

And you can't throw the ball forward, you carry it on the ground. They don't
stop every 20 seconds the game moves constantly. There is ONE team not a
defense and offense!

It is quite common for the teams to come off the field bloody!

Regards,
Rob M.

Remember, the Brits and the Celts played rugby for several centuries before the innovation of the ball was added.
